Delegations of the Day: Denmark and Israel

Today the first activity had many dilemmas or scenarios where the delegates were assigned a side where they needed to defend one side or another. This was the start of a great discussion during the debrief. In the second activity we had Israel's cultural activity. We were exposed to many of the current issues as well as some historical significance of holidays and games they play. In the evening we had France's cultural activity where we had improv.

Delegations of the Day: The Netherlands and Brazil

This morning we started nice and easy. The kids performed very well on the open day, so as a reward they got to sleep in. After breakfast everybody brought their bed to the lullabies-room and we watched the movie 'Mean Girls'. After the movie we had lunch, followed by a very calm siësta. Activity 2 was the Dutch cultural activity. We did 2 Dutch energizers and watched a few clips on Dutch stereotypes and fun facts. After this we moved to the gym to play a Dutch version of dodgeball and 'steal the cone'. We had a lot of fun and a great workout in one! After that, the kids had shower time and enjoyed dinner. After this we did a role-playing game in which fairytales got a modern twist. It was so much fun! A very relaxed and easygoing day!

Delegation of the Day: France

After a hard wake up for some people we had a camp picture and we got ready for open Day. A lot of people came so we had a great day meeting our host families again and discussing our countries. One of the families also brought a photo booth which was a lot of fun to get dressed up in and take our pictures. Then after presenting the camp to the families, we had a light dinner. Activity 3 was a zombie game in the dark where we had to find "dead bodies" the staff and leaders and bring them to safe hiding spots so other teams wouldn't get them. After a short night the leaders woke us up at 3 am for house of feelings...
