Delegation of the Day: Germany

Today was Germany's cultural activity. It was about stereotypes in different parts of Germany and allowing the delegation to clarify what is and isn't true. Groups were given time to learn a song in German and then perform it in front of the whole camp. The second activity was about trust, where we had to run through each others arms and trust that they were going to move them before we got there and the second half was a blindfolded obstacle course. The last activity of the day was about boarder control, where half of the groups were travelers and had to try to get into certain countries and during the second half we switched roles (from boarder control to travelers and vice versa). We had a very good debriefing about what it is like in our own countries and how we believe it should be. Lastly today was Ole's birthday and we sang to him in all of the different languages at breakfast.
