Delegation of the Day: Brazil

Today was Brazils cultural activity where everyone was divided up into different social classes and given money based on their level. Throughout the day each person had an opportunity to earn money by making bracelets or winning different sporting events, but they could also loose money by getting caught by the "police" for doing something wrong or "being mugged". These different social interactions among classes and groups was discussed in debriefing about how people actually live in Brazil. Also, with the money they had they had to "buy" lunch and dinner and the "government" gave money to those who could not afford a meal. Later in the day we had an activity about trust vs. mistrust where we had some people building a puzzle and some destroying it but you didn't know who was assigned to what group.
